Problem
Nguyen's Pho is a traditional Vietnamese restaurant that does not have a website or online ordering service available on any platforms. This makes it difficult for customers to place orders for pick-up or delivery, and the restaurant is missing out on potential sales.
Goals
Design an ordering app for Nguyen's Pho to allow customers to place online orders for pick-up or delivery.
Provide an easy-to-use platform for customers to browse the menu and place orders.
Increase sales for Nguyen's Pho by attracting and retaining more customers through the convenience of online ordering.
Approaches
Key metrics to keep monitoring/optimizing post launch:
Conversion rate: This measures the percentage of website visitors or app users who end up placing an order. A high conversion rate would indicate that the app is user-friendly and effective in guiding customers towards making a purchase.
Customer retention rate: This measures the percentage of customers who return to the app and place multiple orders. A high customer retention rate would indicate that the app is meeting customer needs and providing a positive experience.
Average order value: This measures the average amount spent by customers per order. Increasing the average order value would indicate that customers are taking advantage of the app's convenience and making larger orders.
